WHAT DO I DO IF I WANT TO BE PUBLISHED BY YOU?

First, let us get to know you. We are always open to relationships. We are just as concerned with the message written with your life as we are those you can write with your pen or paint with your paintbrush. This is not a business enterprise, it is a ministry. It is about bringing together people that share the same values and DNA that Converge International represents. Emerge Media is the part of CI that seeks to identify those we walk with who have gifts of artistic or literary expression and give them a way to share those gifts with the world at large.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU ARE A "MINISTRY"? DOES THAT MEAN YOU ARE RELIGIOUS?

We certainly hope not! Ministry actually comes from a verb that means "to serve." We want to express love in action through the gifts we have been given. And we are based around certain core values and DNA. If the values you read here don't express your heartbeat in the stage of the personal spiritual journey that you are in, then we may not be able to feature you specifically. BUT we are always open to relationship! We have a core belief system that is based on the person of who Jesus is. But we are not exclusive to any denomination, flavor or stream... Everything we are revolves around relationship with the One Who is Love.

ARTISTIC INTEGRITY AND RESPONSIBILITY (HERE IS OUR DISCLAIMER-You know we'd have one somewhere!)

We make every effort to make sure all the works we are publishing are completely original by first requiring relationship with the authors we publish or artists we feature. However, seeing as we are imperfect jugdes of character and do not always know everything all the time, the author/artist maintains full responsibility and liability for the literary/artistic integrity of his or her work: i.e. only submitting an original work with proper source annotations. If we find at any point in the process, a work is not giving proper credit to its sources or is in any way fraudulent or not the original work of its author, we will immediately pull it from circulation until such time these issues can be resolved.

IF YOU ARE A MINISTRY, WHY DO YOU CHARGE?

For much of what we feature, we don't! We will however from time to time link to artists and authors online who are selling their works.

For larger, more labor-intensive projects, we believe the astists are worth investing in. If we didn't, we wouldn't be featuring them. However, if you are a full-time missionary on the field, a ministry leader from the 2/3rds world or do not have the resources to purchase something you see sold on this site, then we will be happy to bless you with a copy.
